Odyssey

Odyssey | work in progress

More than a traditional performance, “Odyssey” is a compelling site specific project. We haven’t attempted to stage Homer’s epic in its entirety—instead, we’ve distilled its most powerfull archetypes, timeless motifs that bridge ancient myth and contemporary life.

Through a process of literary extraction, key fragments of the Odyssey emerge, stripped down to intensify their theatrical power while preserving the heart of the story. Gone are the solitary heroes; here, collective action takes center stage. The performers’ actions—often suggested and shared by the audience—transform viewers into “spect-actors”, literally “seeing” and “acting” as one.

The audience moves along a real path, entering and exiting different scenes, tracing Odysseus’ journey through their own footsteps.

“Odyssey” is uniquely site-specific project—crafted for theaters or urban locations, and developed through a workshop with local residents. The event itself is co-created in real time, inviting the public to join in choral actions and collective storytelling.
